Mr Odinga stated that he will accept and tell his supporters that they have lost the election if only the repeat poll is conducted fairly.
The moderator, Mr Mahdi Hasan, went on to ask the Opposition leader whether he would be calling for protests in case he loses the election.
"You are saying that if you lose fair and square then you will accept the result and will not protest. The implication being that if you believe vote rigging happened again, which I suspect you will if you lose, then you will call for protests and you will tolerate violence?" Mr Hasan probed.
The former Prime Minister responded in the affirmative, saying that it is a constitutional right for Kenyans to protest and picket.
"Kenyans must be prepared that if they do not come out in large numbers and we lose fairly then we will accept but if there is rigging then the people are entitled to protest," he stated.
Raila emphasised his sentiments that the only way President Uhuru Kenyatta could win the election is through rigging.
"He (President Kenyatta) cannot win in a free and fair election. I have a bigger support base, there's no way he can beat me in a proper direct free and fair electoral process," Raila insisted.
