The photo elicited various comments from netizens who wondered whether the superstar had unfortunately gone broke.
When contacted by The Evening Post,Kevin Oliech, Dennis younger brother, responded to inquiries on the matter with a bitter: "What is so big about one bad photo?"
Kevin spoke on behalf of his brother who is away in the neighbouring nation of Tanzania stating that social media users had sensationalised an otherwise trivial matter.
I would just like to know why one bad photo has caused all of you to start looking for my brother.
"He has been a superstar for a very long time and what you should actually focus on is his new deal with Bunson Travel for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. That is the only matter he would be willing to comment on," Kevin stated.
Going by the newly signed deal, it would seem that the accomplished footballer might not in any financial trouble as specualeted on social media.
Dennis is now the brand ambassador for the said travel agency who are marketing tickets to the World Cup tournament that will take place in June next year.
He is slated to travel to Russia in December where a draw will be held and lucky Kenyan fans will get a chance to accompany him to watch some of the matches when the World Cup kicks off.
