“I Am Tired” Uhuru Declares

President Uhuru Kenyatta

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday complained of his frustration with the local media which he accused of engaging in politics, at the cost of economic development.

A visibly agitated Kenyatta stated that he was no longer watching local television because all he was getting was political analysis even though the political mood had faded.

I am telling you am tired of watching television, or even reading newspapers. Every time its politics by people calling themselves analysts. Always analysing something but we are tired. We can’t achieve development if we do politics all the time,” Kenyatta remarked.
In an indirect reference to NASA leader Raila Odinga, the President stated that his critics should allow him to work for the five years which he added was a short time.
I am only here for four or five years, after that they he will be running around against Ruto (Deputy President), it won’t be Uhuru,” he stated.
