Khaligraph Jones’ entrance reminisced scenes of The
Undertaker getting out of a coffin at WWE. The rapper took his fans by surprise
at Jameson Connect event at Uhuru Gardens.
Hip hop fans last Saturday night congregated at Uhuru
Gardens to be thrilled by various rappers. American rapper TY Dollar Sign
headlined the Jameson Connect event.
Khaligraph Jones, Kagwe Mungai and The Kansol were among
local rappers who performed at the concert. The Kayole rapper left revelers
yearning for more with his performance.
Khaligraph made a grand entrance in a white coffin which was
escorted by pallbearers in black outfits . The casket was carried to the stage
before the rapper emerged from it and started performing.
The coffin was part of his performance for the song ‘Gaza’
which he also appears in casket. Khaligraph dropped ‘Gaza’ to urge youth in
Kayole to steer clear of gang activities.
The song was released at a time when the now defunct Gaza
gang used to terrorize residents in Kayole. The gang was comprised of youth, most
of them were gunned down by police.
