My Organs Have Shifted And I Can Barely Move Or Eat – The Trend's Njambi Koikai

My organs have moved and I can barely move or eat – The Trend's Njambi Koikai

Thoracic endometriosis is a vicious disease that has ravaged the body of feisty Trend panellist Njambi Koikai because of her lungs collapsing every month while on her period.

She is not only in excruciating pain when it’s that time of the month but things have gotten worse due to the frequency of her lungs collapsing.
In a post on social media Njambi disclosed that her organs are now moving to the left due to how often her lungs collapse, she has developed serious backache, can’t sit straight or walk for long distances and is feeding poorly.

“Good morning fam....I woke up with so much gratitude in my heart. Nothing is harder than living by this mantra, 'take each day at a time'. I've battled with thoracic endometriosis for a while now. It has taken a serious toll on my body and a recent x-ray showed that my organs are moving to the left due to the frequent lung collapses. I've developed serious back aches. I can't sit straight or walk long distances. I'm ok with the backaches cos I can stretch and sleep on my yoga mat, I am on back physio at the moment. My feeding has been greatly affected. Well, this becomes more of a mental battle than it is physical. I have 3 more tests to undergo which are part of the requirement before I leave for specialised treatment. I'm grateful for women who've battled this before and won. These women have given me so much hope and inspiration.” Read part of her post.

The post comes ahead of her last fundraising concert dubbed 'Brothers for Jahmby' set to take place at the Alchemist on the 10th of February 2018. The concert will hopefully raise the remaining 1.5million shillings out of the required 10 Million Shillings that will help her seek specialized treatment which includes 3 surgeries in the US.
