Safaricom slashes its prices by 50%

Safaricom Headquarters Nairobi. They have slashed their prices by 50 percent.


Telecommunication service provider Safaricom has announced a 53 percent reduction in its home data prices.

The reduction will give Safaricom Home customers’ access to two new bundles, Easy30 which will have 30GB for Sh 3,500 and Easy50 which will have 50 GB at a cost Sh 6000.
The two new bundles will be exclusively available on the new Safaricom Digital Internet and TV Box and the Safaricom BIGBox and will be provided as alternatives to Safaricom Home Fibre service.
According to Safaricom’s Director of Strategy Joseph Ogutu, the bundles are designed to suit the needs of the Kenyan modern family.
The affordability of the Easy data bundles will supplement our nationwide 4G coverage ensuring that each home now has access to world class, quality and high speed broadband,” said Ogutu.
Easy30 bundle will have a validity period of 30 days while the Easy50 bundle will have a validity period of 45 days.
Customers will also be able to roll over any unused bundles by purchasing additional bundles.
Customers on the BIGBox will be able to buy a 15 GB and 5GB Home bundles at discounted rates of Sh 3,199 and Sh 1,199 respectively.
