A few days after music sensation Diamond Platnumz announced that he would be launching his own TV and Radio stations after he was given a media blackout in Tanzania, his words were indeed true and it has come to pass.
The singer who has been on the search for talent from the grass roots together with his Wasafi crew shared with the public photos of the licenses awarded by the ministry of Information in Tanzania, promising that it was all systems go for WASAFI TV and Radio and they had no time to waste.

Diamond who has chosen to focus on his career and businesses more despite being dumped by his baby mama Zari Hassan went ahead and shared a video of the high-tech studio he has been working tirelessly to put up through one of his Instagram stories.

According to reports two Major Media houses, Clouds Media Group that houses Clouds FM/TV and the East Africa Media (East Africa Radio) no longer plays songs from WCB.
The said media houses are in wrangles with Diamond, a thing that his Manager Sallam SK, terms as trying to sabotage his singers.
