The lawyer also disclosed that the police officer who pulled the trigger was known and identified by name.
"A contingent of 50 GSU policemen from Meru County were deployed to Meru University on the day Evans Njoroge was murdered. The killer has been positively identified as Kiptanui. Why would JBoinnet claim he doesn’t know him, unless he is covering up? JusticeforEvansNjoroge,"Havi tweeted.
The lawyer further appealed to the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet to charge the rogue officer, Kiptanui, who is stationed in Meru with murder and gave the police boss seven days to take action.
