president, at the back of some jeering from supporters, assured them of a
Jubilee win
– According to Uhuru, with or
without the Kamba vote, he would still triumph
President Uhuru Kenyatta has assured the Kamba community of a
win for Jubilee in the August polls regardless of whether they support him or
not.
Uhuru, was on a campaign trail in Makueni , where he attempted
to coerce residents stringly associated with NASA deputy Kalonzo Musyoka to
vote for the another Jubilee regime.
“I come here to ask for your
votes,” He said.
Things however took a
turn when the residents started jeering the President who almost immediately
changed his appealing approach to residents.
Uhuru teased residents that he would still beat NASA’s Raila
Odinga on August 8.
"We have come to ask for your votes
but we are not forcing you to vote for us. You may vote for whoever you want
but this time, I assure you, we will beat Raila, “ He
assured to the jeering Makueni residents.
As TUKO.co.ke reported earlier,
Uhuru, during the same campaign rally, threatened local chiefs in the area with
dire consequences for allegedly teaming up with NASA.
According to the President, the chiefs were largely where they
were because of the Jubilee administration.

Despite the discouraging words to Makueni residents, Uhuru, through his Facebook, announced that a number of Ukambani leaders had endorsed his re-election.
