he'll curse their children if they don't vote for him
– The residents alleged that the incumbent MCA has been
arrogant since being elected
– They promised not to vote for him
Residents in Luanda, Vihiga County were left shattered and
in anger after an MCA in the area threatened to curse their kids if they didn't
vote him back in the office.
TUKO.co.ke has learnt that incumbent Luanda MCA Tom Atingo
annoyed the residents in the area with his comments making them promise not to
vote for him on Tuesday 8.
They claimed that Atingo has grown arrogant after being
elected.
"Ile machozi
nitalia nikianguka kura itafanya watoto wenu wapate laana milele. Nimewapatia
pesa mingi kwa matanga na mnasema mtachagua mtu mwingine" Said Atingo
while addressing citizens.
According to Peter Otiato, the MCA has not helped them in
any way.
"Atingo has
failed us. He has done nothing since we elected him apart from snatching our
wives. He has even moved and now he stays at Ekwanda area, Luanda South ward
with a wife he snatched from Ekamanji," said Peter Otiato from Mulwakhi.
The community living in Luanda has now vowed to punish him
on the ballot because he called them a "bunch of dogs and beggars".
Atingo is among other six Vihiga MCAs who joined Governor
Moses Akaranga’s Progressive Party of Kenya.
