National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) officers have traced and detained a car whose passenger was dumped unconscious in Roysambu estate on Tuesday evening.
The unidentified woman was thrown out of the car, registration KCB 697T, before its driver sped off.
A quick thinking pedestrian took a picture of the car's number plate and circulated it online.
A joint team of NTSA and Kenya police officers took the woman to hospital.
The authority announced on Wednesday announced they had detained the vehicle and relevant action taken.
