The four IEBC officials had been contracted to oversee elections in four polling stations in the NASA stronghold of Vihiga County.
Shocking details, however, emerged indicating that they had been gazetted in the Opposition's list of nominees.
Investigations showed that the four are county assembly nominees for the Amani National Congress (ANC), an affiliate party of the NASA coalition.
The IEBC contracts with the officials have since been terminated and it is expected that the Deputy Presiding Officers (DPO) will stand in their place.
Meanwhile, the Opposition's Chief agent, Musalia Mudavadi, on Sunday accused IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba of colluding with Jubilee officials to facilitate rigging.
Mr Mudavadi claimed that the CEO has been holding secret meetings with the Senior Officials from the Jubilee party at a house in Kileleshwa.
"We have credible information about covert meetings that the Commission CEO Ezra Chiloba has been having in a house in Kileleshwa with part of the secretariat staff and senior Jubilee operatives geared towards sabotaging the successful conduct of the elections by the Commission", Mudavadi accused.
The Chief Agent went on to list the names of the officials involved in the alleged plot to sabotage the elections.
