The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has issued an announcement just a few minutes after NASA leader Raila Odinga officially announced his withdrawal from the October 26 polls.
IEBC said that following the withdrawal of the NASA presidential candidate, the Commission and the legal team are meeting and will communicate way forward.

Odinga had blamed IEBC for failing to meet its "irreducible minimums" as the main reason for his withdrawal.
"IEBC does not intend to effect changes in operations, staff to ensure irregularities that led to nullification addressed," Odinga stated.
Odinga said that the NASA coalition had come to the conclusion that there is no intention by IEBC to undertake any changes to its operations and personnel.
