Uhuru’s 3 Demands That Must Be Met Before Elections – Mutahi Ngunyi

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has drafted three issues that President Uhuru Kenyatta must demand for before the fresh presidential elections are held.

Prof Ngunyi noted that just like NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga who has irreducible minimums which he insists should be met, Mr Kenyatta must push for three agendas to be adhered to before the polls.

In his weekly analysis titled: What all NASA and Jubilee sycophants must do, the political scientist gives the Head of State irreducible minimums which solely focuses on reforms at the Supreme Court.
He based his arguments on IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba remarks, where he told the public that the documents used by Supreme Court were forged.

First, Ngunyi mentioned that if the documents were forged at the highest court in the land then reforms must happen before the polls.

"The Supreme Court forged documents at least that is what we were told. Then they went ahead to nullify Uhuru's election using the same forged documents. Now they have told us that the truth of this forgery cannot be investigated and the only people who can authorized this are the people accused of the forgery.

"This is why Uhuru should state his irreducible minimum as well. Raila thinks he is the only one who has those irreducible minimum," he said.

Secondly, he notes that just like Mr Odinga demanded the servers at the IEBC be opened, Kenyatta should also ask for the servers at the court’s registry opened to probe who fabricated them.
"The public would want to know how bad the Supreme Court forgery was and this is another irreducible minimum for Uhuru in my view," he said.

Finally, the analyst highlighted that Kenyatta should demand that those culpable be charged with treason.

"Three, Supreme Court should be charged with high treason. Overthrowing a Government using forged documents is a crime that can only be dealt with by the military,” he opined.

Ngunyi reiterated that there was no way for Kenyatta to become president if Chief Justice David Maraga was still in office because he will nullify it every time he wins.
