A viral photo has surfaced online showing AFC Leopards'
playing unit carrying huge bags of maize flour as they await to board a plane
at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport earlier on Monday,February 19.
Perhaps to bolster their striking and defense forces,the
12-times Kenya Premier League champions are hoping that a heavy meal of Ugali
could dwarf their opponents.
The photo has sparked the conversations around the Luhya
community love for ugali given that the the oldest Kenyan club enjoys massive
support from the members of the said community.
Clad in their usual blue jerseys,the 19-man squad could not
forget their love for the staple ugali even as they intend to face off with
Fosa Juniors in the preliminary round two of the CAF Confederations Cup on
Wednesday,February 21. The team popularly known as Ingwe drew with the Island's
