The family of the late IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando has
urged Kenyans to be mindful of what they post on social media regarding his
killing.
Peter Msando, a brother to the deceased, appealed to the
nation to be sensitive about the matter as some of the rumours posted on
Facebook and Twitter were very painful.
He was speaking on Wednesday at Lee Funeral Home where he
added that the family should be spared more grief.
A lot of what is being posted out there is false,"
he said during a post-mortem to establish the cause of Chris death.
He also asked politicians to stop making reckless statements
on the murder and instead volunteer any information they may have to police.
He further asked police to fast-track investigations into
the case and give answers as soon as possible.
The family also requested police and the government to
accept the UK and US governments offers to help bring to book the murderers of
Chris.
An autopsy report suggested Msando was strangled to death.
"He died from strangulation and had incisions on his
right arm but the rest of his body was intact," said government
pathologist Johansen Oduor on Wednesday.
