A gory road accident on Thika Super Highway has left
residents stunned.
The accident involved a tipper lorry, Mwiki Sacco Limited
(MSL) matatu, a Nanyuki Shuttle and a personal car.
It is alleged the lorry blew it’s front tire and the MSL
matatu hit the lorry behind, the impact saw it topple and fall on it’s side.
In the confusion, there was another collision with the
Nanyuki bound matatu. The personal car, a Toyota Demio was also caught up
in the melee.
Several people are feared to have died. The police are yet
to give a clear statement on how many lives have been lost.
At the time of going to press, members of public had
gathered around the scene to rescue the injured.
This occurred accident near EABL in Ruaraka and has caused a
massive traffic snarl up on both lanes of the highway.
