Details have emerged indicating that NASA leader Raila
Odinga will convene a parliamentary on Tuesday morning ahead of the
much-awaited announcement later in the day.
Odinga and other NASA leaders will discuss the way
forward after IEBC declared Uhuru Kenyatta president-elect before
communicating to their supporters, the Standard reports.
ODM director of communications, Philip Etale had on Monday
indicated that NASA would make a major announcement if the electoral body
declared Kenyatta the winner of the repeat election.
"Chebukati will make his announcement... NASA will make
their announcement too in the afternoon. Kenya is for us all," a tweet by
Etale read.
The Opposition leader has been demanding a fresh election be
held in 90 days terming the repeat poll a 'sham election'.
Uhuru was declared the winner after garnering 7,339,228
votes which translated to 98.2%.
The President-elect urged Kenyans to maintain peace in
his victory speech at Bomas of Kenya.
