A man who caused an uproar on the internet for appearing
mysteriously at the sites of two tragic accidents came out on Tuesday, November
7 to clear the air. The man had created a mystery around himself after he
appeared at the shores of Lake Nakuru following a helicopter crash in which all
its five occupants perished.
At the time he identified himself as Dennis Ngengi Mungai
and that he was a 'State pilot'.
On Tuesday, November 7, he narrated how Nyeri Governor
Wahome Gakuru was involved in a fatal crash that claimed his life. He was
wearing the same dark shades he had in Nakuru. But after being called out by
netizens, he told Citizen Digital that he was a businessman who imports and
sells goods locally.
He also clarified that he witnessed the Governor's
accident but not the Nakuru Chopper crash. “I was not the witness in the Lake
Nakuru Chopper crash,” he told Citizen Digital in an exclusive interview. The
Evening Post had reported earlier over his mysterious appearances
at both accidents besides a section of Kenyans raising questions about his
presence. He had come out as super eye witness raising a series of
questions.
