Kenyans generally know Akorinos to be pious, prim and proper
in everything they do. Always dressed in white or some shade of it, turbans on
the head and religious beads on their necks.
They are also
believed to be prudes considering their women wear nothing less than floor
sweeping dresses and some long version of a sweater or trench coat every single
day. Well, one woman is breaking the myth about Akorinos.
Meet Pesh, an Akorino model breaking stereotypes that they
do not care about fashion and beauty. In a series of photo shoots posted on her
social media, Pesh managed to excite Kenyans with her Akorino swag Check out
some of the reactions to her style:
"She just proved
you can be attractive and dignified at the same time.," wrote @rubbzah.
