CS Kariuki Survives Impeachment

Jubilee Members of Parliament have withdrawn a motion to impeach Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki.

National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale stated that the legislators had agreed to withdraw the matter in order to solve the impending issues internally.
Mr. Duale added that they were other serious issues to deal with in the country hence the withdrawal of the impeachment motion.
The motion to impeach Ms. Kariuki was filed by Mandera North MP Bashir Abdullahi on Wednesday.
