Self-declared NRM General Miguna Miguna loped his family into the ongoing saga regarding his ejection from the country.
In a Facebook message on Friday morning, Miguna addressed his wife, children, relatives and friends noting that he was still marooned at the Dubai International Airport.
He further divulged that he was in great pain, stress and inconvenienced adding that his left hand was still badly swollen.
“My left side is extremely painful. I’m yet to get toxicology tests done on the chemicals the state thugs violently and illegally injected me with on Tuesday evening,” he noted.
Miguna stated he was awaiting his lawyers to communicate with him over the latest court orders and what steps they either have taken or intend to take for their enforcement.
“I reiterate that we must ensure that everyone, no matter how strong or weak, respects, upholds and obeys court orders and operates within the rule of law.
“My right to travel in and out of the country freely must also be respected and upheld at all times, in the same manner that these rights apply to all Kenyans equally. I intend to fly back to Nairobi as soon as possible. It’s my birthright, constitutional and legal right as well,” he wrote.
In another message which he stamped as “VERY URGENT”, the Canada-based barrister indicated that he didn’t have a passport to facilitate his return to Kenya which he maintained is his birthplace.
“I don’t have any travel document or passport. I need Kihalangwa and Matiang’i to deliver my Kenyan passport to me here in Dubai tomorrow, March 30, 2018, as multiple courts have ordered them to do so that I can use it to travel to Nairobi immediately?” he maintained.
He noted that he was waiting for clearance from the Emirates Air and UAE authorities and an air ticket back to Nairobi urging his supporters to remain strong, focused and fearless.
