Police have arrested Diamond Platnumz over his explicit videos. Tanzanian minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports Dr. Harrison Mwakyembe has confirmed Diamond’s arrest.
Speaking in parliament today April 17th 2018, Dr. Mwakyembe told lawmakers that Diamond was arrested and grilled by the police on Monday after his video surfaced on social media.
The Information minister told parliamentarians that Diamond will be prosecuted for violating the country’s accepted moral standards
Dr. Harrison Mwakyembe also reveals that popular Bongo singer Faustina Charles ‘Nandy’ was also arrested over her leaked sex tape.
The Information minister warns that social media is not a place for people to post lewd stuff. He says that Tanzania has its traditions which must be upheld.
