Why Raila Will Miss Matiba's Funeral Service Today

NASA Leader Raila Odinga will not be attending the funeral memorial service for the late Cabinet Minister Kenneth Matiba which is currently ongoing at the All Saints Cathedral.

Odinga will miss the service as he is in attending the Devolution Conference in Kakamega where he will deliver a keynote address.

Among leaders who have already arrived at the All Saints Cathedral include NASA principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, former First Mama Ngina Kenyatta, former President Mwai Kibaki, among other members of the first family.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto have also arrived for the memorial service being held in honour of the late champion of multiparty politics.
It is not clear if Odinga will attend the second funeral service for Matiba that is expected to take place tomorrow (Thursday) at General Ihura Stadium in Murang'a.
