The fast rising Sub-County is however on the spotlight for all the bad news due to the prevalent moral decadence involving middle aged married men and young girls.
It seems a section of residents has devised a technique of beating the chilling cold through outrageous debauchery without a care.
The disputable group, dubbed Team Watembezi, has elicited mixed reactions from Limuru residents due to its overt immoral conduct.
According to sources which spoke exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Team Watembezi comprises of mostly notable married men who are probably bored with their marriages and are in search of sexual thrill with young carefree slay queens.
The middle aged men refer to themselves as Team Watembezi dogs, while the lasses, mostly in their twenties, refer to themselves as Team Watembezi divas.
The group works by organising road trips across the country where men facilitate the lasses with transport, drinks, accommodation and food in exchange of the obvious- what fine women can offer.
The slayqueens on the other hand have the opportunity to do what they like best- visit exotic places, take pictures to post online and brag to their friends and relatives.
"Men and women engage in drinking sprees then proceed to exchange partners and you are free to have sex with anyone you fancy in the group. It was my first time, I was so traumatised. I can never go back again," a forth-year student who was a former member of Team Watembezi divulged what happens in the road trips but refused to be named for fear of victimisation.
"I cannot join that group. I would be crazy to join. The demonic things that they engage in," said another resident from Limuru who also disclosed some of his friends were in the group.
The group is well organised and networked through social media.
The members communicate via Whatsapp and Facebook groups where details of their amorous trips are shared. They also have Instagram where members post memories of their rendezvous..
The group has a clothe line with,Team Watembezi label, where branded tee shirts and hoods for members are available.
Men's car also have the group's logo's inscribed at the back and the windows with some having contentious numbers such as #666.
Some married male members of Team Watembezi have been accused of neglecting their families, wives and children in their quest for pleasure in road trips which can take even up to four days over the weekends.
"My husband works in a big company and earns a high salary but he neglected all his responsibilities as a father since joining the group in 2016. I only see his pictures with small girls in exotic places while I struggle to feed our children at home, said an embittered mother of three children who resides in Limuru.
"He is hardly at home, I hardly see him especially on weekends and it's even worse when public holidays fall on weekends. He uses all his money in partying and returns home milked dry by those slay queens. I'm afraid I might contract HIV/AIDs and leave my child," said another resident.
The reckless slay queens on the other hand have been blamed for wrecking families in the area and causing wives and children untold suffering.
"They are mostly carefree young women with no children and responsibilities. That's why they can afford to go for a whole weekend and sleep with any one just to later post pictures having fun with another woman's hubby. They think they will never age, Karma is real, said a resident.
Some residents have appealed to the relevant authorities to take charge and curb the group which is eroding morals in the society.
