Lawyer Miguna Miguna has finally issued a response after Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko allegedly nominated him to be the next Deputy Governor.
In a text message to Citizen TV, Mr Miguna dismissed the nomination as a mere distraction.
"Good afternoon I have no idea what nearly everyone seems to be talking about. It’s a malicious distraction. That’s all I’m saying," Miguna said.
Miguna's response seems to negate what his lawyer Cliff Ombeta told the public.
Ombeta through a phone interview said that Miguna was considering the position.
“I have the letter. I am on my way to hand over the letter to the speaker. Miguna is considering that position,” Ombeta said.
