Matuga MP Kassim Ali Sawa was arraigned in court for steal and destroying property worth millions that belonged to Riziq Fundi Bakari.
The MP was accused of stealing a freezer, refrigerator, 35 plastic chairs, counter table, 20 cooking oil jerrycans, 20 bundles of wheat flour, computer, television set, welding toolbox, a phone and a locker, valued at Ksh850, 000.
The MP is said to have destroyed property that was valued to almost a million shillings on October 17 2009. He appeared before Mombasa Senior Principal Magistrate Francis Kyambia.
