And on Tuesday May 29, the young tender-preneur who got paid for supplying nothing to NYS, walked into Milimani Law Courts holding a baby.
Behind her were few family members.
Throughout the daylong proceedings, dressed in white spagheti top, Wanjiku flashed few smiles here and there, perhaps it was just another day.

As was earlier reported , the business lady was among the over 45 suspects who were summoned and grilled at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters.

Ngirita told detectives she went to the NYS offices, asked for a procurement officer, requested to supply goods and that was how she ended up with millions of cash in her company's bank account.
But what was even more shocking was how she secured the KSh 59 million NYS business deal using her office-less company's Certificate of Registration of Business and a tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
