Nation Media Group appoints new CEO

The Nation Centre. The Nation Media Group has appointed Stephen Gitagama as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).


The Nation Media Group has appointed Stephen Gitagama as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Gitagama has been acting in the same capacity since the end of January after the former CEO Joe Muganda left the company after two and a half years at the helm of the group.
At the time Gitagama was the Group Finance Director.
Mr. Stephen Gitagama holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya.

He was appointed to the Board in March 2008. He previously worked as a Finance Director with East African Breweries Limited.
Gitagama is also a director of the Group’s Subsidiary Companies and is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee.
