Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has survived a second petition after the High Court upheld her election on the August 8 general election.
Justice Lucy Gitari made the ruling in a case filed by Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua and her running mate Gachoki Gitari.
The petition was initially heard and determined in November last years where Justice Gitari ruled Karua's petition as fatally defective, hopeless and incurable before dismissing it.
Karua then moved to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court where she managed to get a court order directing the case be heard afresh.
