In a statement issued by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi the
Alliance claimed that Msando had made several reports to the police claiming
that his life was in danger.
Mudavadi claimed that the former boss made the reports at
the Central Police Station days before he disappeared and was later found at
the City Mortuary.
He expressed concern that a person holding key and vital
information at IEBC had been eliminated a week before the August 8 General
Election.
The NASA principal urged their supporters to be prepared for
the polls calling on Kenyans not to be intimidated and to be vigilant ahead of
the polls.
He further asked for the government to provide enough
security to all the IEBC staff given that the Commission Chairman Wafula
Chebukati had expressed concerns over their security.
Earlier, Chebukati demanded that IEBC officials be given
security so that the polls body can deliver a free and fair election.
According to the Chairman, Msando had been tortured before
being killed since his hand had been broken when his body was discovered.
