A man has killed himself at the Sultan Hamud police station in Makueni.
The suspect decided to end his life after he was denied bond after threatening to kill his mother.


This tragedy comes a few months after a university student hanged himself using a sweater while in police custody at Hardy police station in Karen. The 23-year-old had been arrested over possession of 50 grams of bhang and passed away within 6 hours of his arrest.
