President Uhuru Kenyatta has threatened to punish chiefs in
Makueni County whom he accuses of working with the opposition National Super
Alliance (Nasa).
The president made the rare admission of sabotage by members
of the provincial administration on Wednesday while on the campaign trail in
Wote town.
The provincial administration has traditionally been an arm
in the security ministry for implementation of government directives and
policies.
President Kenyatta also warned voters against hanging around
polling stations after casting their ballots.
