The supervisor Hassan Muwonge assisted the police in tracing
the real killer Godfrey Wamala.Luke Owoyesigire, the Kampala Metropolitan
Police Spokesperson, says Wamala was picked up on Sunday evening from his
hideout in Kyengera in Wakiso district.
Wamala’s arrest comes a day after president Museveni
promised Radio Mowzey’s family to bring his killer to book. The Ugandan
president assured the family of his support during Mowzey’s burial.
“I would like to assure the family and the mourners and all
Ugandans that whoever killed Mowzey Radio will be brought to book. May his soul
rest in eternal peace,” said president Museveni in a speech read by state
minister for Tourism Godfrey Kiwanda.
