Mama Sarah Obama has reportedkly urged President Uhuru
Kenyatta to visit Kogelo village in Siaya county.
According to the Star, Obama’s step-grandmother wants
Uhuru to lay a foundation stone for Barack Obama University College.
Mama Sarah said the institution will be a landmark project
in memory of her grandson and former first black US President Barack Obama.
She was speaking during a visit by the US-based professor
Michael Muiga – the founder of Barack Obama University.
“A 50-acre piece of land has been set aside for the
ambitious project,”said Mama Sarah.
She said the university will serve all Kenyans devoid of
their political, social and tribal inclinations.
Mama Srah further decried the sorry state at the Barack
Obama schools.
“Both the primary and secondary school sections are in bad
state. We need to support them as they will act as reservoirs for local brains
being prepared to join the Barack Obama University.”
