
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced that the results of the repeat presidential election will be declared at 3.30 PM on Monday.
They have invited all the presidential candidates to the Bomas of Kenya for the announcement.
Jubilee Party leaders and members of President Uhuru Kenyatta's detail have already made their way to the venue.
The electoral body's Vice-Chair,Consolata Maina, stated that the final tally would not be affected by the postponement of elections in four counties; Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori.
She stated: "Where an election is held, the election should be held at the earliest practical time"
She further divulged that they had consulted various agencies and decided to announce the results without the four counties as they would not have an impact on the final tally.
