Controversial businessman and billionaire Jimi Wanjigi on
Tuesday got a major reprieve after the High Court in Nairobi issued orders
barring his arrest.
The orders were issued after billionaire’s wife, Nzisa
Wanjigi , moved to court seeking to temporarily block the police from arresting
her husband and searching their premises.
Nzisa had also sued Inspector General Joseph Boinett whom he
wanted to be held personally liable for all the damages committed during the
raid on their Malindi and Muthaiga homes.
The Police had obtained a search warrant that permitted
them to access three premises associated with the controversial
businessman.
