Education CS Fred Matiangi is on Wednesday expected to finally release the 2017 KSCE results.
Sources privy to the on goings at the Kenya National Examinations Centre (KNEC) confirmed to pulselive.co.ke of the abrupt announcement.
The announcement is expected to break last year's record of timely release of the KCSE results.
The announcement is expected to come from KNEC headquarters at the Nairobi School.
Last week the examinations body was forced to deny fake news which had indicated that results would be released.
“Our attention has been drawn to rumours circulating in the social media that the Ministry of Education will be releasing the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results on Monday,” read part of a statement signed by KNEC Chairman Prof George Magoha.
Matiang’I released the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results on November 21, 2017.
