Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has in the past three months made a total of six excuses to escape his swearing in as the People's Deputy President.
The initial inauguration ceremony had been slotted for December 12th but was cancelled at the last minute after Musyoka reportedly failed to get a flight ticket home.
The NASA co-principal had been in Germany tending to his ailing wife. When the ceremony finally kicked off on Tuesday 30th, the former Vice President came under heavy attack from Kenyans from across the political divide after he failed to show up at Raila Odinga's controversial oath ceremony.

Musyoka, together with his co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, claimed that they had skipped the ceremony after their security was withdrawn.
The Wiper boss would later on the same night insinuate that he and his colleagues were placed under house arrest. He did not any evidence or specifics of the house arrests and police dismissed his claims.
The NASA co-principals would later appear with Odinga where they claimed that their absence from the inauguration was tactical and had been agreed before the event.

February 28th convention
Musyoka went ahead to promise that he would be sworn in after "legal consultations".
NASA operatives are reported to have called his bluff and organised a swearing-in ceremony during a convention scheduled for February 28th.
Hours after the details were published, them who has carried the "watermelon" moniker appeared before journalists, dismissed the planned swearing-in plan, claiming that such an oath would be illegal.
