High court has upheld the election of Amason Kingi as Kilifi
Governor.The petition was filed by his competitor Kazungu Kambi who argued that
Kingi’s election was not held in accordance with the constitution and law.
Judge Weldon Korir while making the ruling said the
petitioner did not provide sufficient evidence challenging the election of
Governor Kingi.
Kambi has been ordered to pay Ksh 4 Million as the cost of
the petition.
