Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has broken his silence with a rare message to the National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders.
The former governor said that the NASA brigade should know that true freedom requires a judicial system that does not infringe on the rights of other people to give some individuals freedom.
“True freedom requires the rule of law and justice, and a judicial system in which the rights of some are not secured by the denial of rights to others ~ jonathan_sacks,” read Kabogo’s tweet as he responded to a tweet by NTV news anchor Larry Madowo.
He went ahead and immediately sent another tweet that read the ‘NASA brigade should know that’
Madowo had posted a question on if the people supporting Miguna Miguna’s illegal detention thought the government would respect their rights as well.
Miguna was arrested on Friday last week for administering an illegal oath and being a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). He is still being detained by the police despite court orders to have him released being issued by the Court.
