Former President Mwai Kibaki's grandson, Sean Andrew Kibaki, on Tuesday sent out a rather surprising message to security officers - a day after the dramatic harassment of lawyer Miguna Miguna.
The younger Kibaki heaped praise on various police units that were involved in the dramatic confrontation with the self-declared NRM general.
He further advised Kenyans to physically stay away from the dreaded police units.
"I've always had high respect for the GSU Officers, Firing Squad, Special Branch, CID officer's and many others who are friends in the Police Services of Kenya. They do their duty best to protect us from "sticky" matters... It's best you physically don't obstruct their justice," Sean stated.
The statement came as a surprise given that a majority of netizens were expressing their anger at the conduct of government officials in their attempted forceful deportation of the outspoken lawyer.
There was also concern after several journalists were beaten up by GSU officers while covering Miguna's detention at JKIA.
