My bad. You have no idea what I am talking about. Last night, a video purportedly of the Kirinyaga Deputy Governor, Peter Ndambiri, caught after engaging in some sexual activities with a random lady. And the price of getting caught with another man’s wife or woman as always is getting beaten.
And the beating was visited upon Governor Anne Waiguru’s deputy.
This is a screengrab from the video in which Ndambiri and the woman are grilled in a room by 2 or 3 men who ask him to identify himself.
Reports indicate the ordeal may have been part of a set-up. But to be honest, that is a headache for the police to address. I personally do not care. It just made for a good story. And trust that the police spoke about the matter saying they had not received any report of the incident but that investigations were underway.
They said they will arrest the person who recorded it for presentation in court.
“The video and the statement circulating in sections of the social media is strange to police,” the National Police Service said in a tweet on Wednesday.
“Police have not received any report concerning an assault. Equally, the Spokesperson has not issued any statement concerning the same.”
The men in the video speak Kiswahili and Kikuyu saying,
“MAJINA YAKO KAMILI, MZAE…. WEWE NI DEPUTY GOVERNOR (YOUR FULL NAMES, MISTER. YOU ARE A DEPUTY GOVERNOR),”
