It was a bittersweet moment as popular NTV Larry Madowo exited the Nation Media Group (NMG).
His colleagues held a mini farewell party for Mr Madowo who has worked at the Aga Khan-owned media house for the past six years.
The journalist shared the photos on social media wishing his now former colleagues good tidings in their career.
“'I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams And that faith gives you the courage To dare to do great things.' Bittersweet saying goodbye to the most amazing team on Kenyan television. I will miss them terribly,” he posted.
Last week, Madowo officially announced that we will be leaving NMG. His resignation came days after the airing of the controversial swearing-in ceremony of NASA leader Raila Odinga which almost led to his arrest.
The oath-taking ceremony opened a Pandora's box at NMG which saw it shut down for almost one week

Though Madowo has remained mum about his next job, word on the street is that he could be headed to BBC Arica as a Business reporter.
