Police have launched manhunt for the person who posted on Social Media an explicit video of Kirinyaga County deputy governor Peter Ndambiri Njagi, being clobbered for 'eating' another man's wife.
The scandalous and explosive 'lungula' clip has been doing rounds on social media and has sparked massive public outrage, prompting police to swing into action.
A police statement seen by The Evening Post on Wednesday, April 25, indicated the authorities had launched investigations into an alleged assault of the deputy governor.
The authorities however denied receiving any reports over the matter saying the explicit video that was being circulated on Social Media was strange to them.
"We have not received any report concerning the alleged assault of the Deputy Governor of Kirinyaga County in Kakamega," the National Police Service clarified on its Facebook page.
The video in question showed a clothe-less, restless, embarrassed and apologetic Njagi uncomfortably sitting next to a topless woman believed to be a married woman.
From the look of things, the pair had most likely had a steamy session moments before they were busted and exposed.
