Word is going around that KTN Friday Briefing anchor, Betty Kyallo has a 50% stake in Posh Palace.
A letter dated October 23, 2017, shows that Betty owns 500 of the 1,000 shares of the hair studio and spa.
“The nominal share of the company is Ksh 100,000 divided into 1000 shares of Ksh 100 each. The company was registered on October 21, 2016,” the letter reads in part.
Her former partner, Susan Kaittany defends that while it’s true that they had a 50-50 partnership, Betty did not invest in the business and was only brought in as an influencer marketer.
In a previous interview with the Star Susan stated, “… the thing about influencers is they are not used to having to give capital for anything. Or pay for anything. When you sink Sh40 million into a business, really, it cannot amount to influencer marketing. Then in that case, I can afford to pay an influencer marketer Sh200,000 per month for that service, if you compare it to the value of the business. So, that is why in the long run it just could not work,”.
The TV presenter only recently launched her own beauty salon, Flair by Betty, right opposite Posh Palace at the FCB Mihrab and poached most of Kaittany’s employees.
