A middle-aged man from Ochude Village in Teso South, Busia County received a thorough beating from irate members of the public Monday, May 7 after he was caught having sexual intercourse with someone else’s wife in a bush.
It is alleged the randy pair were secretly seeing each other for a while before the woman’s husband found out.
The woman’s husband on Monday night trailed her to a bush, where he found her immersed in passion with her lover.
“Such a matter is not reported to the police. We, as the Council of Elders, have the powers to resolve it,” said one elder.
“The randy man should not break someone else’s union. There are many commercial sex workers looking for clients. So, if he wants to satisfy his sexual urge, he should get one [prostitute],” said a female Teso elder.
The fate of the unfaithful woman, as far as her marriage is concerned, remains unknown
