A former Playboy Playmate has been reported to have jumped off a New York City Building with her 7-year-old son.
Stephanie Adams 47 years old and Playboy’s Miss November 1992, jumped from The Gotham Hotel around 8:30 a.m.
She and her son were staying on the 25th-floor penthouse and their bodies were found on the second-floor balcony

According to the New York Post, Adams was involved in a ongoing, nasty domestic dispute with her estranged husband over the custody of their son.

“EARLY THIS MORNING INVESTIGATORS LOCATED AN INDIVIDUAL WHOSE ATTENTION WAS DRAWN TO THAT SAME SECOND-FLOOR AREA WHEN HE HEARD TWO LOUD NOISES,” SAID WILLIAM AUBREY, NYPD’S CHIEF OF MANHATTAN DETECTIVES.
“His attention was drawn to that and he discovered these two deceased individuals.”

A police investigation is currently underway.
At the time of her death, Adams was reportedly locked in a tense custody battle with her ex-husband Charles Nicolai, a chiropractor who owns Wall Street Chiropractic & Wellness.
Relations between Adams and Nicolai had deteriorated so badly that they had to conduct their custody exchanges at a police precinct in Lower Manhattan, according to reports.
Nicolai was also thought to have demanded that their son’s passport be turned over.
