Speaking during the State of the Nation address at Parliament Buildings, the Head of State further asked all leaders at various levels to show commitment and shun corruption.
"I urge the Judiciary to do their part to ensure that our courts are not used by individuals to subvert the law.
"Leaders in every level of commitment must demonstrate a desire to serve," he remarked.
The President also asked the Judiciary to work with the Executive and the Legislature to ensure credibility.
"I can only ask the judiciary that your interdependence be joined to attain the highest standard of integrity.
"Let us not lose sight of the interdependence of all arms and levels of government," he added.
On the August 2017 election, the President commended the discipline forces for their work and noted that during that period action was taken on those disrupting the process.
He also apologised to the nation for words he uttered that may have hurt members of the public.
"Let us each apologize for our words, our actions and the malice that we Kenyans had.
"If I damaged the unity of the country in any way I ask that you forgive me and help me repair the void in any way," he reiterated.
