I truly do believe that we as a species are averse to
hearing the truth if it threatens our perception of things. We like the comfort
of not having to change our thought processes or beliefs.
Anyway, I have had this conversation with many lasses and my
stance has always been that men and women can only be friends when two
conditions are met; either the man is a homosexual or he really doesn’t find
the lass attractive.
And I have been branded many things for standing by this
primordial truth. Regressive, caveman, old school and even chauvinist. But the
fact still remains, I’d rather be a dead truth than a living liar.
